  Beginner's Medical Qi Gong - Saturday and Sunday October 28 and 29, 9am to 4:30pm - Course Cost: $189-

This important form of Qigong (taking the Qi from the universe and breathing it into our bodies) is practiced by oneself to achieve a specific purpose in regard to our health.

This class has been designed for the herbalist, acupuncturist, massage therapist, or everyone who wants to learn Qi Gong to better themselves and stay strong. It has been used for centuries in healing around the world and hospitals throughout Asia are dedicated to the simple and profound practice of Qi gong to maintain health of both body & mind.

Marybeth will teach the basics of the Five Element theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine with specific Qi Gong exercises to address imbalances in each of the Major Organ systems. You will learn how to identify disharmonies in your body and how to improve the flow of Qi to resolve it.

She will show you how this form of physical and mental self-regulation leads, in turn, to regulate the Qi (or life flow) of the body. You will see how extremely powerful it is in it's ability to effect many changes in the body and mental health.
Marybeth will teach you how to harmonizing your internal energy systems for health enhancement and disease prevention. Typically, these are simple breathing and movement exercises or seated meditations.

Please wear loose, unrestrictive clothing and bring a yoga mat to class .

 
  Staying Young "Forever" - Saturday and Sunday November 18 and 19, 9:30am to 4:30pm - Course Cost: $189-

This class is for anyone interested in enjoying physical activities, mental acuity, sexual vitality and independence into their elder years. We will discuss the secrets to Longevity – but more importantly, we will study the robust health of the Sardinians and Okinawans and learn how we can incorporate them into our lifestyles.

This class is not about supplements or “anti-aging” formulas, but about taking control of our lives through nutrition, stress management and simple exercises. Come learn about easy to make healthy, life enriching foods and where to find them!

Learn what to order when dining out for flavor and health and where those restaurants are! Find out which physical activities and stress management techniques have been proven to b e the most beneficial for you!

It is a wonderful way to celebrate our growing older gracefully with more energy and power than others before us. Hand-outs and practical information you can use daily will be provided.
